We live in a time of extraordinary technological power and unprecedented access to information.
Yet many people feel increasingly disconnected—from community, from place, from creativity, from one another, and sometimes from their own story.
The Nine Moons was born from a simple question:
What if storytelling could become a living practice again?
Not entertainment. Not content. Not passive consumption.
But a participatory process through which people rediscover imagination, meaning, connection, and belonging.
The Nine Moons is a creative enterprise dedicated to designing experiences where archetypal connection, creative energy, material practice, and mythic imagination become tools for exploration, transformation, and collective creation.
We believe every person carries a story before they know how to tell it.
A constellation of memories, dreams, symbols, places, encounters, desires, fears, and possibilities.
We call this a Protostory.
Our work is to create the conditions in which these hidden stories can emerge, connect, and evolve into something larger than the individual.
Not because people need another narrative imposed upon them.
But because they need spaces where they can discover their own.
Participants contribute fragments: memories, dreams, symbols, objects, drawings, stories, questions, images, and personal mythology.
These fragments are woven together into evolving visual and narrative landscapes through collaborative creation. The result is never a fixed artwork.
It is a living system.
A collective mythology.
A story-world shaped by the people who inhabit it.
Every project leaves traces.
Every trace becomes part of a larger constellation.
The archetypes speak to us in the symbolic and metaphoric language of myth
When we open ourselves up to Mythic Imagination, we can see not only the essence of our inner stories but also the deeper meaning underlying the events that have shaped our lives. The workshop is inspired by the uniqueness and integrity of your stories, which, through your imagination and the surfacing of archetypal images, are transformed into origin myth, resulting in the birth of a new personal cosmos.
